What is a bar blade? This was a question that I asked myself many years ago when I started bartending. Hello, I am Jonny Moate. I am the founder and owner of Barblades. I originally started purchasing bar blades from America which I started selling on eBay. Sales were buoyant and I started getting interested from countries as far as Australia. After numerous exports and hours of queuing in the post office, it dawned to me that there were a demand and a massive hole in the market. It was then that BarBlades was born. 5 years on and we are still here. The product is still the same however we have started trends and taken personalised bar equipment to another level.

Bar blades supply around the world and are the number 1 search on Google. This does not happen overnight trust me! Myself and my Commercial Director Mannie Sehmar decided to get a stand at the Bar Show 2009 and in the words of one of the customers, “You guys smashed it up” The stand was so busy we had to replenish our supplies, twice in one day. We have exclusive rights for Hand Jives in Europe. We have supplied bar blades to the world’s largest drinks companies in quantities of thousands to one-off limited editions.
